Growing up as an artsy kid with a ton of interests but very little pocket money, I learned to do a lot of things for myself.  From retouching in Photoshop to perfecting a pie crust, I harnessed most of my knowledge through trial and error.

I've since channeled that love for learning into one for teaching: engaging with audiences, encouraging questions, and using project-based trainings to make things fun.
